Congratulations Varsity Girls Volleyball: The Team won their Annual Dig Pink Match against Northport on Friday Night 3 games to 0. The program raised over $900 for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. The team was led by Olivia Poplawski, Emma Kongevold, Ally DeGaray and Cayleigh Delgado. All of the girls would like to thank the huge crowd that came out to support the team. The team defeated Sachem North 3 games to 0 on Tuesday, October 13th. Junior Melissa Triolo led the way for the girls with 9 kills, 7 digs and 3 aces. Junior Olivia Poplawski had 21 assists, 12 digs and 4 kills; Junior Lauren Civello had 3 aces and served tough all night. Sophomore Maelyn Latko had 4 aces and 15 digs and Senior Emma Kongevold had 7 kills and 9 digs. The team played with great energy to pick up another win. The Boys Varsity Soccer Team earned a 1-1 tie in a hard fought game on Tuesday versus Central Islip. The team's record currently stands at 10-1-1 overall. Fabrizio Chamorro got the equalizer in the 65th minute off a pass from Witman Hernandez. Austin Salas recorded 8 saves. The team is back on the road today versus Hills East at 4pm. Please come out and support the team on their Senior Night on Monday, October 19th at 6pm versus Bayshore. Congratulations Girls Swim Team: The Team competed at Sachem East yesterday. Captain Emily Fung swam the 50-yard freestyle in 26.0 seconds and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:19. Jillian Leydon swam the 100-yard backstroke in 1:10 and Casey McKenna finished the 50 freestyle in 30.0 and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:06. Congratulations Varsity Gymnastics: The Team had a great meet yesterday. Outstanding performances were by Danielle Harris who took 2nd place on vault and 3rd place on the balance beam and Olivia Zakarin who took 1st place on the floor exercise. Congratulations girls. Come support the team at their last home meet on Tuesday, October 20th at 5pm. Congratulations Girls JV Volleyball: The Team defeated Sachem North 2 sets to 1. Great jobs by Captain Noelle Brygmann, Freshman Desiree Kleeberg and Sophomore Viviana Oliva. Keep up the great work!
