TIME: 8 am to 3:30 pm (rain or shine)
WHERE:Walt Whitman HS North Gym parking lot
301 West Hills Rd, Huntington Station
For the9thyear the PTA clothing drive is collecting:
ALL GENTLY USED CLOTHING (men’s, women’s & children’s), stuffed animals & soft household items, strollers & car-seats. Including : SHOES, BOOTS,SNEAKERS, BELTS, HANDBAGS, BACKPACKS, BRIEFCASES,BEDDING, CURTAINS, TOWELS, small AREA RUGS, TIES, HATS, SCARVES, GLOVES,STUFFED ANIMALS, DOLLS AND SMALL HARD TOYS (no bigger than 24" x 24"), baby strollers
* Please put items in well tied plastic bags. *

A request has been made by a veteran on behalf of homeless local veterans and their families in need of assistance. In honor of our Veterans during each clothing drive we will be collecting items listed below. Donations will be distributed thru the Salvation Army Shelter at the Northport VA Hospital.
Please note:We will have designated tables for the veteran donations next to the clothing drive; drop-off will be outside the north gym at Walt Whitman HS.Items for veterans can be in boxes or bags.
Requested Items (for men & women):·Toiletries: ( hotel & travel size items welcomed)
oDeodorant/antiperspirant
oShaving cream
oShampoo/conditioner
oAlcohol free mouth wash
oRazors
oSoap / body wash
oShower shoes / flip flops (size M & L)
FOOD:·Coffee·Canned protein ( ie tuna, chicken , spam etc)·Peanut Butter·Jelly·Soup·Macaroni & cheese·Rice / Pasta/ potatoes (boxed)
