Walt Whitman High School would like to thank and recognize the following seniors for their volunteer service to our community and nation. “It is our hope that you have been inspired by your experiences and will continue to serve others in the future,” said senior class advisor Ms. Diane Zamow. “To further recognize your service, we have registered your hours with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).” The PVSA is a national organization designed to tap the power of citizens to improve lives, solve problems and strengthen communities. Awards are as follows: Bronze 100-174 hours, Silver 175-249 hours, Gold 250 + hour and the Principal’s Award at 500+ hours.
