We hear from coach Karen Schmitt that the varsity field hockey team is now 8-1 after their 1-0 OT win against Lindenhurst. Emily Dickson and Kayla Neiland preserved the shut out in goal. Christina LoFaso scored the OT goal. Next home game is against Northport today, Friday, October 9th at 4:30 PM.

The Boys Varsity Soccer Team defeated rival Northport yesterday (10/8) by the score of 4-1. Blake Aronson led the way for the Wildcats with a goal and 2 assists. Witman Hernandez, Fabrizio Chamorro, and Anthony Palazzolo each had a goal. Michael Lorello and Noel Reyes added assists. Austin Salas made 6 saves to preserve the win. The Wildcats are 10-1 overall and looking for revenge. Come out and support the team at their next home game as they look to avenge their only loss on Tuesday at 4pm versus Central Islip. The team is calling for "White Out" conditions for their game on Tuesday, October 13th. Please wear white to the game.

Eduardo Alfaro and Kevin Hererra chipped in with assists too. The Wildcat defense made up of Alfaro, Bobby Cerrito, Noel Reyes and Sean Zagorski held Copiague to only 3 shots on goal. Austin Salas and Marc DePasquale combined for the shutout.
Coach Mike Patto is happy to report that his Boys volleyball beat Sayville 3-2 (25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 20-25, 33-31) last night (10/8) to improve to 4-5. Joe Esposito had a monster game with 66 assists, 7 kills, 1 dig, and 3 blocks. Dylan McNally dominated the net with 9 kills and 5 blocks.
