Walt Whitman’s French Students recently competed in 2015 Le Grand Concours and once again did a great job at this annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in all 50 states and abroad take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes. Walt Whitman High School had an excellent showing with the following students making it among the top 20 nationally and among top 10 in the Suffolk Chapter.
