On Tuesday, April 21, elected officials at Town Hall honored several high schools in the Town of Huntington who were awarded top in the State. Along with Cold Spring Harbor, Harborfields, Half Hollow Hills East and West, and Commack, Walt Whitman made the list in Niche.com’s top 100.
Niche ranks more than 100,000 public and private schools and districts based on dozens of statistics and 27 million opinions from 300,000 students and parents.“This is a unique ranking because it compiles the survey responses of parents and students from the district,” said Superintendent Dr. Dave Bennardo in his weekly newsletter to the community. “The survey places us in some fantastic company with the area’s finest schools and reflects beautifully on the students, teachers, and parents that comprise our learning family.”
