Roses Are Red….

The students in Mrs. Chinnici’s Kindergarten Class are celebrating Valentine’s Day across the curriculum. First they created beautiful cards, developing fine motor control. They learned about poems and practiced several sight words using the classic Valentine’s Day Poem “Roses are red……”. The students were also busy at home writing Valentine’s Day cards to all of their friends and after passing them out, the students sorted and graphed their cards according to the characters on their cards. And just to get a jump on our 100-Day Celebration, the students hung 100 hearts from the ceiling and learned how to count by 10’s and 5’s to 100. The students in Mrs. Chinnici’s Class are having fun while learning! Happy Valentines Day Everyone!
